How the XFx Web Decryptor Game Works:

  1. Web Decryptor game pieces are distributed on or in packages and also via direct mail and handouts.
  2. Each game piece features a clear red cellophane die cut window and a code number.
  3. Consumers are instructed to visit the Sponsor's Web site and input their entry information and code number.
  4. After the entry form is submitted, the consumer is taken to the Web Decryptor page.
  5. The server uploads a prize message based on the visitor's code.
  6. The visitor must place the red cellophane in the game piece over the scrambled message area to decrypt it.
  7. Most people will see a "We're Sorry" message and will be told that they've automatically been entered into a Second Chance Random Drawing.
  8. Winners will see a prize message telling them what they're won and how to claim it.
  9. Winners will be linked to a pre-populated Affidavit/Release Form that can be completed online, printed, notarized and returned to us with their winning game piece.
