How the XFx Web Decryptor Game Works:
|
Web Decryptor Game OverviewColor scrambler or revealer games have been available in the real world for decades. Previously, they were distributed in magazine ads, FSI ads, direct mail pieces and handouts. These game pieces consisted of a scrambled area of dots or squiggles that covered the prize message. Shoppers had to take their game piece to a store display to decode the hidden message. There were a number of disadvantages to this type of promotion in the real world:
The Internet has changed this game for the better. Consumers now have easy access to decoding the message. Our Web Decryptor game is very similar to the old color scrambler game but in reverse. In the past, the shopper had to put the scrambled message game piece behind a red cellophane area in a store display to see the prize message. With the Internet, the shopper visits the Sponsor's Web site and places the clear red cellophane over the colorful scrambled area on their monitor to decrypt the prize message. Of course, we didn't invent this game. We just found a better way to do it. Contact Us: David Kessler |
